Chief and Motion Picture's Producer, Ms. Dorothy Jernigan
Ollie has a BS. Degree in Education, with a double minor
in Speech & Drama and Theatrical Arts. She is also
a freelance screenwriter and has completed five screenplays,
with “SHARKO” being the first one currently
in development. In her quest to ensure the vision of these
motion pictures, she has turned down opportunities to
sell her work to the Hollywood studios. She has decided
to assemble a team of visionary independent film veterans
to work in conjunction with S C I A Productions
Inc., thus keeping the vision of the pictures true, the
economics sound and generate job opportunities for the
independent film industry in Texas and beyond. Dorothy
Ollie is the proud mother of three children, and four
grand children. Her son Kevin Ollie plays point guard
for the NBA Basketball team, the Timberwolves.
Ms. Ollie has a Master's Degree in Education and has taught
in the public school system for twenty-nine years. She
has been a positive role model, and has had influence
over many American youth. She has taught life skills,
provided care and support, set and communicated high leadership
qualities and expectations, provided resiliency skills,
sponsored and directed meaningful participation in Theatrical
Productions and Showcase of Talent Events for students
in three different regions. She has served in the Los
Angeles Unified, the Dallas, and the Plano Independent
School District public school systems. She has touched
lives of children from every walk of life, the affluent,
middle class, and the underprivileged. |
